    @Memphis

I caught it. He was annoyed with the officiating but didn't say anything specific about it. At one point he joked with Terry, asking him if he was trying to get him fined. Terry was asking him about the officiating. 😂

    Radio Show

Deonta Vaughn. I would have loved to have seen what he would have been like with all the talent around him.

Temple was ugly. UCF the Bearcats didn't shoot well (they never do there) but the ball movement was good and they were getting good shots. UCLA was an amazingly fun game. They DOMINATED and scored 77 points on the road at Pauley. Not sure what you are watching.

    Pitino

I couldn't care less about Pitino wearing a UC shirt or coming to games or talking to the team. Like him or not, the guy can coach. It's not a surprise that he and Mick are friends. Don't see it as an issue.

    SMU

What Jake did was exactly what was drawn up and intended. They work on this with Jake a lot in practice. Refs, especially in college, tend to swallow whistles late in games so a jump shot to win is not a bad percentage shot. Jake can get his own shot and is obviously very comfortable in that...

    24/7 Sports

UC's staff doesn't care about the rankings. They are looking for quality players that fit their system and their vision of what it means to be a Bearcat. That's how you end up with players like Clark and Evans. They may have liked Harris (I don't know) but realized that they weren't going to...

    2018 Football Recruiting

I don't know that it's about not caring. I just know that I don't have the time to do it and if I am going to do it, I'm not going to do it half assed.

    Xavier

Surprise surprise. Xavier can't miss. Their post guy can hit the bottom of the rim and it still goes in. I hate this ******* game.

    The Fieldhouse Mock Draft

The NBA drafts on potential. A guy that is 6'6" with a 40"+ vertical and shoots over 40% from 3 has a place on an NBA roster. I would actually be surprised if Jake is back at UC next year. I fully expect him to go towards the end of round 1 and possibly mid-first round if he continues his uber...

Absolutely! If you have the means to donate, even a little, please consider it. Chad does a great job covering Bearcats sports and his family is in need. Wishing you and your family the best, Chad!

    Western Carolina

Keith Williams is the first Bearcats freshman to score at least 10 points in his first two games since SK. Not saying he is going to be as good as SK but he is much more polished at a younger age than SK was. He is just as slick finishing at the rim as SK. These are things to be excited about...

    Coppin State

Evans had 19 in game one and 9, 6 and 6 in game two (on 3 shots I believe). Not sure he is due for a big game. He's been solid and super efficient. I'll take that every day.

    Western Carolina

UC wins this game easily. 90-58.

    Offensive Performance

I agree. The key is shot selection. If they are open, in rhythm, fire away. If not, try to get to the rim which he can definitely do. I'm not losing sleep or changing my perception of any player on this team (positive or negative) based on one game.

    Savannah State

He is raw but by all accounts the most athletic guy on the team. Way too early to throw out transfer as an option and frankly, unfair to the kid.

    Savannah State

    don't think so

    2018 General Recruiting

Not going to happen. Mick isn't a fan of 5th year transfers and i'm sure Mick will feel good next year with Brooks and Scott plus the two freshmen who will be sophomores. I expect Mick to focus on another guard/wing for the 2018 class.

    Official Season Predictions Thread

26 and 5 regular season seems right to me.
  19. JasonS

Which Freshman will play the most minutes this season?

If Evans and Cumberland each play 35 minutes, that would leave 10 minutes for Keith. I think that would be the fewest he would see on average. Realistically probably 10 to 12 minutes a game and 4-6 points is where I see Keith ending up this year.

Which Freshman will play the most minutes this season?

It will be Keith Williams. Best player in the class and most ready to contribute.
