    Potential Coaching Candidates

I would consider Gates resume coaching history and academic history better than Brannens after taking a deeper look.3 time Pac 12 All Academic. He's ENTHUSIASTIC, has longtime West Coast and Florida basketball familiarity. His rosters have been stable. 2 time Conference Coach of the year by age...

LMAO at this Cronin forum !

This is like keeping your Ex's picture up on your nightstand.

    Potential Incoming Players

The "key" to a below avg Xavier team that didn't make the NCAA Tournament either ? Players like that ? Yeah, that's the ticket.

    Memphis

Dejulius ? Think he can be counted on ? Only as a backup to Saunders. I believes for the sake of the program going forward, Saunders needs as much experience running the Point as possible.

    Tony Yates

The shot was not emphasized or strategized at that point. The Big man and the (lost art) mid range shot ruled the day. I'm sure the number of 3's taken then is miniscule compared to the amount taken today.

I remember his McDonalds All American recruit Roger McClendon could shoot the lights out ! Too bad the 3 point shot wasn't emphasized then like today. He was deadly from deep.

    Ecu Round 2

So you would be playing McNeil in front of Logan Johnson ? Point wasn't was he a fit (thats your point) the point is he's better than what we're seeing from McNeil off the bench.

    Ecu Round 2

Agree 100%. Play the young guys. This is why I wish Logan Johnson had stayed with the program. He's not getting a lot of minutes out west right now.

His basketball IQ and skill set are much better than "somewhat coordinated". We've had similar height on the roster before. Difference is, they played like they had mittens on and two left feet.

This is just Basketball people. Following and watching our Cincinnati Bearcats is supposed to be fun ?

    Tennessee

Where did that line of thought originate ? This forum ? He was a quality player in the Horizon League and Conference Champion. Technically ball skill wise he's the best the Bearcats have seen in a while at the true Center position.

    Zac Collaros Grey Cup Champion

Former Bearcat QB Zac Collaros leads Winnipeg Blue Bombers to Grey Cup CFL Championship, joining former Bearcat great Danny Barrett as CFL Champion QB's.

Question is at this point in the season at 10-1 is there a legit alternative ? Coaches make the decision. As a helpless fan I'm rolling with Dez and hoping for better.

    USF

Who said anything like that ? 9-1 is a good thing no matter how you look at it and if anything it shows resilience of the coaching and players to WIN consistently against who's on the schedule. Would you prefer 25 of 30 for 450 yards 4 TDs in a loss ?

Reading these comments one would never know this team has only one loss and that to #2 in the nation.

    Alabama A&M

I agree. The other players need as many minutes as possible together early in the season. Sure to payoff later in the season.

    Alabama A&M

A winning record and victory over that team on Victory Parkway are the only "optics" most are worried about.

Game Thread: UC vs (18)OSU 11/6/2019

Watching Cronin recruited and coached teams may have slanted your viewpoint. Look at most of the top 10-15 consistently ranked teams. They utilize big men who don't play "outside the arc". The Bearcat Big Men played ok against a quality Big Ten opponent on the road. Its not like they lost to...
