Mick’s whining and yelling is the problem. It is unprofessional and unnecessary. John Wooden didn’t yell and scream and pull players after a bad shot. Look at D’Antoni at Marshall. We need Cronin to calm down and hire an assistant like D’Antoni that can be more creative offensively.

It's like he wants to force being the star instead of being patient. We have plenty of other solid players, he doesn't have to be a hero every time down the floor. Also want to see him add a little more arc to his shot. His line drives bring back bad memories of Shaq Thomas occasionally.

??? Broome isn't a frosh. He played D1 ball and scored 23 ppg. Definitely not a freshman, although I'm sure he will score less since we are more talented than Sacred Heart was while he was there.

It's not that I wasn't excited to watch this team, but I've been really excited about next year for a while now. Broome and Williams will bring more to the team than Caupain and Johnson, IMO.

A few observations... 1) We should've had Caupain post up Ball a few times. Ball clearly has the speed and overall skill advantage, but Caupain is stronger and 20-30 pounds bigger. Gotta take advantage of that. Cumberland used his size and strength advantage to perfection against Alford. 2)...
