I am hearing that Drake Bruns of Ft. Thomas Highlands is picking up interest from UK. Drake is a 6′ 1″ DB who was named 1st team all State for Defense at the end of the 2010 season. At this time, he is not listed on any of the recruiting services, yet from what I am hearing, he makes plays on the ball and hits like a Mack Truck.

Drake Bruns, Highlands – The sophomore exploded onto the scene this past season with four interceptions for the state champion Bluebirds. He was a Northern Kentucky Division II All-Conference performer this past season.

• Fort Thomas Highlands junior defensive back Drake Bruns has picked up his first scholarship offer - from Cincinnati. He attended the Cincinnati Junior Day with his twin brother - Devin - after both attending Kentucky’s Junior Day. Drake is hearing from Louisville, Indiana, Illinois, Notre Dame and others.
