Tight end/ defensive end Jack Konopka (Palatine, Ill./Fremd) has scholarship offers from a number of Midwest schools as well as a couple on the West Coast.
His list of nine offers is made up of Oregon, Arizona, Northwestern, Illinois, Purdue, Boston College, Cincinnati, Duke, Ball State, Akron and Bowling Green.
"I kind of want to stay in the Midwest region," Konopka said. "I don't want to dismiss anyone, but Arizona and Oregon might be a little too far away. But I'm still talking about things with my parents and my coach."
