Has an offer from Iowa, who is in on most of the kids UC offers, btw.

Warren Central has been loaded with talent. Interested in seeing what his grades might be..

When asked how the recruiting process is going he said, "Great". He told me, "I just got back from Cincinnati". He plans on taking more visits and has already been to Ball State, Indiana and Purdue. He was supposed to attend UK's Junior Day, but couldn't make it due to weather. He said UK is supposed to reschedule and "the linebacker coach" was handling his recruitment.

Nick plans on attending the Nike Combine on May 1st at Ohio State and plans on attending camps at Arkansas and Purdue for now. He may attend some others as well, but hasn't decided. Some schools are recruiting him to play Outside Linebacker while others are recruiting him to play Strong Safety. Nick is currently 5'11" tall and weights 212 lbs and runs a 4.6 forty-yard dash.

When asked about the factors in making his decision he said, "I'm trying to get out of Indiana. I want to compete for playing time and academics are important". Nick plans to take all of his visits and make his decision after his Senior season.

Visiting MSU this weekend, with other visits planned for the future.

Nick Temple (2011-S) from Indiana has received an offer from Western Kentucky. He currently holds seven offers, but UK hasn't extended an offer. His offer list also includes Cincinnati, Louisville, West Virginia, Toledo, Iowa and Ball State. He could play either strong safety or outside linebacker at the next level.

His main three are within the BE. UC, Louisville, WV are biggies for him. I do think he gets more offers that could alter the equation.

“I just enjoying it right now,” said Nick Temple about the recruiting process. “I’d like to take my official visits and take it from there. I want a good football program and be where I can fit in. I want a place where they work hard and where I could possibly start as a true freshman.” Temple says that Cincinnati is recruiting him the hardest and he has already attended the Bearcats Junior Day.

Supposedly is visiting UC this weekend. Working to confirm.

Edit: I don't know if he made it on campus this weekend or not but he is the LB that is supposed to be visiting this weekend.

Speaking of linebackers, here's a new name to add to the list. Temple plays for Warren Central, in Indiana, and was recently named to the Army All American roster. Warren Central has quite a few D1 recruits, including Kris Harley, and Kiaro Holts. Nick is really hoping for a Michigan offer, and said that Michigan is definitely high on his list. He's been in contact with Coach Tall, and said the coaches are currently reviewing his film. It's his opinion that the Michigan coaches will extend an offer soon.

Dissappointing to read that. I really hope we can get this one. We need 2 out of 3 with Poole, Stevens and Temple.

Agreed. I think Temple could wind up being a SS with his frame at the next level, too. We definitely need linebackers in the worst way.

I understand it's Michigan and they have a storied program, a beautiful campus, lots of resournces, etc; but I just don't understand why all these kids are leaning there. Consider the following about UM:

a) They face potential santions/penalties from the NCAA.
b) They have been terrible the past few years and the coach is on the hot-seat. If he does not win this year there is a good chance he will be gone.
c) Even if RichRod survives it will take him a while to the talent where they can beat OSU and win the B10.
d) If he is gone it will take them a couple years to recover. B10 traditionalist don't like the spread offense and the next coach will likely run a pro formation.
e) There's a chance a 2011 recruit may only get to one or two bowl games at the most in their four years.

Now compare this with some other programs that are in much better situations. I'm not saying UC > Michigan as a whole, but right now I just don't understand why all of these kids are going crazy over them.
