From Beechwood coach Noel Rash:
Beechwood Student Athlete Michael Colosimo Commits to Play Football with the University of Cincinnati.
The quarterback for the 2010 Beechwood football team, Colosimo threw for 1,885 yards, 18 touchdowns on 105-211 attempts. He averaged 134.6 yards passing a game. He was instrumental in the Tigers 2010 season when they went all the way to the State semi final round.
He was honored as a member of the “Top 24” from the Northern Kentucky Football Coaches Association in 2010. He is a three year letterman in football and two year letterman in baseball and consistently on the academic honor role.
“Michael has all the physical and mental tools to be a great collegiate quarterback. His arm strength was noticeable by all, but his best traits are knowledge of the game and leadership abilities. He is a difference maker when it comes to leadership.” said Head Football Coach Noel Rash. Beechwood Assistant Principal and Athletic Director Ben Zimmerman added, “Michael is an awesome young man. He is respected by his teachers and always contributes positively to the classroom and school atmosphere. He does his part to make himself better. ”
