Alex Huettel is a 6-foot-4 offensive lineman from Pinkerton (Ohio) that looks like a tight end in his film. Huettel has all the raw material of a great lineman -- long arms, large frame, quick feet. However, expect Huettel to spend his first year in a college weight room transforming his tight end body from "Randy Johnson" into "CC Sabathia." Right now Huetell plays center for his prep team, but a player with his quickness would be an excellent candidate for tackle when he is done filling out.
Huettel has an early offer from Bowling Green to go alone with his CMU offer.
Wow. I thought he should have waited, as there could not have been much pressure to commit to them. Figured he might get better offers down the road. This may not be over for him unless he's completely sold on them.

He seems like kind of a tweener. Some people are saying he is going to play TE. Others OL. Maybe BGSU promised him to play OL (or TE) and other programs weren't willing to do that? Though, I must admit, 6'4" and 273 lbs sure sounds like OL to me. Not sure how well he runs.
Alex Huettel of Pickerington (Ohio) North may not be getting a lot of attention but he held his own during drills. With a good looking frame, Huettel already holds a few offers and a good summer could open the door to some BCS programs.
