Cleveland Glenville offensive lineman Aundrey Walker: At 6-5 and 335 pounds, Walker is one of the biggest offensive line prospects in the nation. MSU was the first Big Ten school to offer Walker a scholarship and now Illinois and Indiana have followed suit. The Spartans would love to break that Ohio State pipeline that seems to run from Glenville to Columbus. Getting Walker on campus early is key to building the necessary rapport.

Penn St. and Pitt are in the top five. Planning on visiting ND for spring practice.

Might come down to Mich St and OSU. Michigan is still in the mix, and it's very early. Some more offers could change his top 5..

His body isn't built for the kind of offense I expect UC to run. Another one of BJ's offers that has me scratching my head.

Had a good visit to Michigan, but the UM fans aren't feeling him (or those from Glenville) just yet.

Bentley Academy helps lineman flourish
Mike Parris of OhioVarsity.com, May 5, 2010

...
One of Bentley's long-time disciples has been standout offensive Aundrey Walker, a product of local Cleveland powerhouse Glenville. Walker, the top-ranked offensive lineman in the state for the class of 2011, boasts over 20 scholarship offers from some of the top programs in the country. But the blue chip prospect knows he wouldn't be where is currently at without Bentley's instruction.

"Two years ago I met LeCharles at school and he saw potential in me," explained Walker, who has been working with Bentley since his sophomore year when the academy opened. "Now he is like a big brother to me."

Ohio State, Michigan State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State and a host of others comprise an offer list that recently surpassed 20. Many pundits believe that the Buckeyes have the inside track based on Jim Tressel's history of landing Glenville standouts. Walker's strong feeling about the Scarlet and Grey has done little dissuade that belief.

"Hands down, all I can say is that I just love the Buckeyes," he stated matter-of-factly. "There is just nothing else to say. I love them. That's all I can say. At the same time, I do not want you to think there is a Glenville pipeline (to Ohio State). It is not that. (The decision) is just going to be weighed on of what is the best opportunity for me, the best education, and which school put me in the best position to be successful in life."

Well, if this is true, we all know he wouldn't pick OSU. I mean come on, their cheerleaders spelled O-H-I-O wrong at the National Championship game against LSU (I was there for work and I have proof in a picture! :D).

That means USC is out, as their cheerleader clapped when the other team scored.

It makes perfect sense to me now why they do that stupid O-H, I-O chant in the stands during games, and everywhere else for that matter. On the biggest stage in College Football, the OSU chearleaders spelled O-O-H-I. Uh, whoops. :D

To the Buckeye State we go. Walker started out with only a handful of scholarship offers, but as word spread of his incredible size (6-5, 335 lbs) and skill on the offensive line, he gained a national profile among the top programs. Walker sits on about 12 offers right now, with six Big Ten teams--Ohio State and Michigan State are supposedly in the lead--Notre Dame, and a few Big East teams calling his number. USC offered Walker back in March, and can be considered in the top three with MSU and OSU.

When it comes to Penn State... Walker admitted to Brian Snow of BuckeyeGrove.com that he "doesn't know anything about them (Penn State)." That's not the kind of image you want inside a recruit's head, especially one as highly touted as Walker. But that was in mid-March, and things could change as long as Walker's recruitment remains open. However, the Nittany Lions might be going up against the clock on this one. With Ohio State and USC already gaining so much traction with Walker, it'll be an uphill, but not impossible battle for Penn State.

From CFBRumorCentral (twitter): Massive Ohio OT Aundrey Walker seems to be a shoe-in for the Buckeyes.

I think everyone in the state is dreaming if they think they will get Walker. Just listen to what he had to say:

"Hands down, all I can say is that I just love the Buckeyes," he stated matter-of-factly. "There is just nothing else to say. I love them. That's all I can say. At the same time, I do not want you to think there is a Glenville pipeline (to Ohio State). It is not that. Pipeline or not, that does not sound like a young man headed to the worst state in the union. He does have some nice things to say about how MSU "loves" him, but I think it is fair to say they are in second.

"You know that Michigan State was the first to offer me, so that just sparked me a little bit," Walker explained. "That showed that they really loved me and they really wanted me. Coach (Pat) Narduzzi is a real cool guy. (Mark) Dantonio is down to earth -- a genuine guy. That's how I feel about him personally. Coach (Dan) Roushar, the offensive line coach, he hits me up to see how I'm doing. It's just an all around great football program. I love them and they love me."

The big man definitely loves to feel the love. Anyways, what about TSUN? Well, Walker says he needs another visit so he can get a better feeling. In other words, they are out!

Syracuse was the last to offer. He seems content with looking around, and in no hurry.
