Offered by Kelly at UC, he was also offered by BK at ND. tOSU has also offered, and has been to that campus, at Michigan, and also to UC.

Current top 5 includes OSU, Bama, GA, ND, and Lord Gator.

OSU is probably where he ends up, unless someone wows him. Doesn't look good for Cincy at all. Might have had a decent shot had BK stayed.

He is all about OSU. Could we see a Munchie vs Miller showdown in 2012?

There is a rumor going around that he will leave Wayne and go to Springfield HS for his senior year where he would play with DePriest.
Might see a commit sooner than later with the Bucknuts.

He's still looking around, but if Miller joins him there, I would think both would likely end up at OSU.
Could be a big year for them, especially if they can find some biggies on the OL.

A friend of mine thinks Miller has some rough QB skills, and could possibly have to make a position change in college. If he wants to continue his path under center, his numbers need to improve.

Agreed. I'm from the Dayton area and agree 100%.

#5 / Wayne / Braxton Miller / QB / 6' 2" / 192# / Jr-2011 / 4.47-40 /*****2009 - 8 games 73 - 143 for 938 yards & 8 TD's / 8 picks, 99 carries for 401 yards & 17 TD's, 2008 - 6 games 59 - 113 for 642 yards, 5 TD'S & 2INT's, 54 carries for 234 yards & 6 TD's. ***2007- 10 games - 93 for 152 - 1,048 yards / 9 TD's & 10 INT's / 93 carries for 303 yards & 5 TD's /***Special player who came out of nowhere on the recruiting board in 2007, armed with quick feet making Miller a duel threat to make plays outside the pocket. *****UPDATE Miller looked every bit the big time blue chip player vs. Centerville in the last game of 2009 season, his footwork & arm strength were so impressive threading the needle in traffic or booted out in space throwing on the run. Braxton is capable of putting up some huge numbers in 2010, 2,000 yards passing & 750 rushing are not out of the question his Senior season. Wayne should be the favorite with a healthy Miller along with a youthful Elk squad battling out for the GWOC Central crown. Warriors need a few skill players to step up & make some plays if so than Wayne could make a push towards the region 4 title! 2nd Team All GWOC in 2007 & 1st Team All GWOC Central in 2009.

I wonder if teams will shy away from him unless he comes up big. The next 'big' QB name I'm hearing is Bubba Starling out of KS. Offers so far from KState, Kansas and Baylor so far (and expect it to grow). Miller is going to be someone interesting to follow this year, in terms of offers, position, and his verbal.

I think its more scheduling conflict than anything else. I do think ND is still in the race, however not leading for his signature.

Article why Miller is so important to Bucknuts

Huber Heights is about a 40 minute drive from Columbus, so Miller is very aware of Ohio State and has been recruited for some time.

Even more pivotal is the friendship Miller has with Springfield (Ohio) OLB Trey DePriest, another five-star player according to scout.com.

One has to believe that if Miller commits early enough to OSU, DePriest will follow suit soon even though he has great interest in Alabama and Michigan as well.

Miller has the potential to be a program changer, like Tim Tebow at Florida, and potentially Terrelle Pryor at OSU.

And most feel that if he commits early, OSU will benefit from a domino effect of recruits just as Buckeye fans saw with C Mike Brewster in 2008 and Florida had with DE Ronald Powell in 2010.

The trend mentioned above is the way in which recruiting is changing in recent years, with players helping the coaches bring big classes.

With Ohio being especially fertile with top talent, it will be more important than ever for Jim Tressel to lock up the borders as tightly as possible.

Ugh... I really hope that doesn't happen... I hope UC is a vital cog in preventing that domino effect from occurring... this program is poised to start slowly infringing upon Buckeye recruiting territory... I'm not talking geographically all together just yet, but certainly from a caliber player stand point... if UC can grab two-three high profile players from Ohio with OSU offers a year, that would be enough... plenty of talent to go around in the state :)

Scout is reporting that Braxton Miller a 5*, recruit is visiting the Gators in Gainseville this weekend. The 6 ft 4 in QB is from Huber Heights OH and has an offer from UK as well as at least 20 other schools. He is rated the #1 QB for the 2011 class and some have him rated as the #1 player overall. In addition to QB, Braxton also plays Safety.
