Hakeem Flowers (Wade Hampton High School, SC) will visit Oregon this coming weekend. UK has extended an offer to Flowers along with most of the country. Flowers has taken visits to Alabama and Oklahoma among others. UK is a VERY long shot and has no visit scheduled at this point.

@jcshurburtt Oregon tells Hakeem Flowers (Greenville, S.C./Wade Hampton) an offer is in the mail. about 12 hours ago

WR Hakeem Flowers (6-3 189) of Wade Hampton has over 40 offers from across the country and is still waiting to hear from USC and Clemson. "I get mail from them but I have not talked to anyone," said Flowers. "I think they've talked to my coach, but I haven't heard from them." He continues to speculate that both schools expect him to go out-of-state for college but says that is not the case. "That's what my guess is," he said. "I could see myself playing at either school." Flowers is now considering contacting both schools directly. "I think I'm going to try and talk to them," Flowers mentioned. His latest offers are from Oklahoma, Notre Dame, and Oregon. He does not have any favorites.

USC and Clemson might know some dirt on him they aren't sharing. Who knows.

This kid can play but, Trust me, there are some things about this situation that are better left unsaid.

That could be right but I have to believe there is a reason Clemson and USC haven't offered him yet.

Some schools are cooling on him

Anytime a Player has a Handler you have to ask yourself what is in it for the Handler?

(some recent comments from his thread, this kid's recruitment is getting interesting)

"Physically, Hakeem Flowers has all the tools to be a top-flight prospect," said Scout.com South Carolina analyst Kerry Fair. "College coaches will love his height and athleticism. Hakeem is also a track star and he shows that speed on the football field as well, especially considering his long stride and top end speed."

Flowers hopes to get to Ann Arbor over the summer.
