“I decided I wanted to be a Bearcat,” sad Buckley. “I felt very comfortable with the coaches at Cincinnati. They seem just like my coaches at Warren Central.”
Guy looks like a real bruiser.
“Before I had went down there I was iffy about it and thinking about it hard,” Buckley said. “Once I got down there it felt like home to me. I felt warmness. I felt a family. Talking to the coaches it made me feel at home and I felt good about it.”
Now Buckley is hoping a few of his Warren Central teammates will feel at home at Cincinnati. He said he’s going to try and lure Sheldon Day, Kevin Davis, Jonathan Burt and Joshua Posley to the Bearcats program. They all hold an offer from Cincinnati.
“As of right now I am,” Buckley said. “I’m really trying hard.”
Buckley will be ranked as the top running back prospect in the Hoosier State.
