No offers yet for Deionte who is hearing from UC, Louisville, scUM, Purdue, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Iowa, Kentucky and Ball State.

I like this a lot!

I love the fact UC is continuing to do well in Indiana. I have to think Buckley will burn the ear of the likes of Sheldon Day and others on his team. Warren Central is good for several DI prospects every year (they are Indiana's Cleveland Glenville).

With the way UC has picked up players in the Hoosier state, pretty soon they will have to start televising UC games and the Butch Jones show in Indianapolis :D

Article from 247's Steve Wiltfong:

“Before I had went down there I was iffy about it and thinking about it hard,” Buckley said. “Once I got down there it felt like home to me. I felt warmness. I felt a family. Talking to the coaches it made me feel at home and I felt good about it.”

Now Buckley is hoping a few of his Warren Central teammates will feel at home at Cincinnati. He said he’s going to try and lure Sheldon Day, Kevin Davis, Jonathan Burt and Joshua Posley to the Bearcats program. They all hold an offer from Cincinnati.

“As of right now I am,” Buckley said. “I’m really trying hard.”

Buckley will be ranked as the top running back prospect in the Hoosier State.

Love it.

I know when Butch Jones arrived here many were critical of his corny coach speak (ie. "I refer to us as a family, not a team", "represent the C" "hold the rope" etc.), stupid motivational speaker-esque demonstrations, etc. You know what??? The past recruiting class and the start of this one shows it actually kind of works to get these kids in here. Everyone knew BK was an evil genius even before the 2009 season and he couldn't get recruits like this in here. Butch is selling UC off of a 4-8 season.

IMO Butch has proven himself thus far on the recruiting trail, and then some... now he needs to go out and get back to the business of winning football games; then things should really take off on the recruiting front.
