Point guard
Cincinnati, Ohio
Winton Wood
Ht:6'3"
Wt:160 lbs
GPA:2
Class:2011 (High School)

Attended WVU game last night. Very interesting that a 2011 pg was visiting. He is a pure passing point guard but can score as well and has made great strides over the past year. Had 24 points and 9 assist in game against Ross Friday night (28th). He is bigger than the 160 listed above I believe.

Xavier recently offered and he is getting attention from Cincinnati, Georgetown, Iowa and West Virginia. Georgetown has watched him play over the past couple weeks, as did Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery.

Hearing that he will probabaly have to go the Prep school route. Hope Mick keeps him in contact as a potential '12 recruit.

TheRecruitScoop 2012 Winston Woods (OH) PG Semaj Christon will take a postgrad year St. Thomas More (CT) next

Think interest has really waned but:

Semaj Christon, a 2012 guard from the Cincinnati Knights (OH), is currently on an unofficial visit to Providence.

Georgetown hosted 2012 Cincinnati Knights (OH) guard Semaj Christon for an unofficial visit today. (yesterday)

Just don't see any way we take a PG in the 2012 class... kid has a lot of talent and he'll land at a high major.

Shame to lose this kid to another BEast school when he's in your back yard or watch him play at Xavier.

Georgetown head coach John Thompson is watching Semaj Christon '12 of Cincinnati Knights at #HGJamFest. An offer may come soon.

it's only a shame if UC wanted him.

How hard was Cronin really recruiting Christon? Was he ever offered a scholarship? Seems like there was only slight interest.
