Colerain junior safety Andre Jones adds offers from Miami University and Ohio University, according to Colerain coach Tom Bolden

As a side note here in what is becoming a clear trend for the early (and growing) 2012 class:

There have been a lot of people upset with the play of the secondary over the past two years and many blame coach Coombs for that. Last year I even heard some whispers about people not believing he could really get it done on the recruiting trail and that he had "burned a lot of bridges" in the tri-state area while coaching at Colerain. I myself have been frustrated at the inability of this staff to get the best prospects (and there have been SEVERAL) from Colerain to stay home over the past few years.

It is safe to say Coach Coombs is going out and making a statement of his own, on the recruiting trail. As far as my knowledge goes, he was the head guy in the recruitment of all four commitments up to this point (Buckley; Posley; Leahy and Jones). Hopefully he and the rest of the staff can continue the momentum, keep picking up solid commits and hopefully land two-three big time stars as icing on the cake.

I have to admit, I was in the crowd who started to doubt KC. He certainly has picked it up a notch this recruiting season.

Keep it up Coach Coombs!!

With Jones in the fold, Drake Bruns from Highlands knew he needed to act now and he has done that, the DB committed to UC today, per Tim Adams of BCL.

We need to create a profile for Bruns.
