If we are going to go with a knee-jerk reaction, we would say that we like Tyler Roberson more as a combo forward than his current listing as a small forward. While still a bit on the lean side, Roberson has added strength in the last year, is still a fine athlete and had the 15-17-foot jumper working on Thursday morning.
Tyler Roberson: Prior to camp, we wrote about how we were anxious to get another look at the 6-foot-7 forward. Turns out he's continued to get better in the last year and much like Looney and Iverson, Roberson has the ability to cause matchup problems as a three- or four-man. An exceptional shooter from between 12-17 feet, Roberson is also an adroit transition finisher and rebounder.
This month I have taken two unofficial visits, one to Rutgers and the other to Seton Hall. I’m planning some visits to other schools as well. My next visit will probably be to Villanova. Syracuse, South Carolina, Cincinnati, Kansas, Alabama and Louisville are some of the other schools recruiting me.
One of the better known players in camp is 6-foot-8 combo forward Tyler Roberson from New Jersey. A four-star prospect who currently ranks No. 53 nationally in the class of 2013, Roberson easily backed up that lofty status. He grabbed rebounds and raced fullcourt for buckets, he drained 17 footers and he never stopped being active during a very busy day.

Alabama, Florida, Kansas, Kentucky, Rutgers, Seton Hall, SMU, South Carolina, Syracuse & Villanova make the cut for Tyler Roberson.
I was disappointed to see this on rivals. Chris Perry if he commits would be fine with me though. My guess is Lawrence ends up in a Cuse uniform. UC is looking at Hart and Severe as guys that can play the 3 but I think you need a rugged 3 as well.
