Standing just 5-foot-9, the 2015 Dayton (Ohio) Dunbar point man isn't the most physically imposing guard on the circuit, but he has a big game. Harris is a devastating penetrator off the dribble, can floor defenders with crossovers and has improved his once good but now very good jump-shot from deep. A lightning quick guard as fast in transition as any guard in his class, Harris already has an offer from Dayton as well as interest from Ohio State, Cincinnati and Xavier.

Okay. So he's 5'-9" as a high school SOPHOMORE. Seems like plenty of time and room to grow. LOL.

Mick really going after PG's. Cool.

The rest of the King James supporting cast is good, but we also like what 5-foot-9 point guard AJ Harris brings to the table. The Dayton (Ohio) Dunbar product isn't tall, but man is he quick and he puts big-time pressure on opponents with his ability to change ends and push tempo. He will attack the rim, he can knock home jumpers, and he plays with heart.

Kid is def quick and can handle the rock! Looks like a fun player to watch with his passing and slashing to the rack. Also looks like he has learned how to deal with his height pretty well with fakes and body control. If he continues to get better could be an absolute stud in few years.

With Luke Kennard and VJ King struggling in their final game of the night, it was 2015 5-foot-9 point guard A.J. Harris who stepped up for King James Shooting Stars (OH).

Despite his size, Harris put on quite a display by draining threes, getting to the bucket and doing his best Allen Iverson impersonation to keep his team in the game. His size may limit his recruitment somewhat, but he is considered the top point guard in the state of Ohio for his class.

He is being targeted by Dayton, Illinois, Xavier, Ohio State, Michigan, Cincinnati and some mid-major schools, who may not be able to get him if he continues to play big in games like these.

With some options right now, and plenty more coming in the future, it will be interesting to see what level the guard winds up at.

Committed to Ohio State.

Heard on the radio, here in Columbus, that Thad offered him but told him that he had to decide immediately or O$U was moving on. I would hesitate to make a commitment to a school that isn't willing to give me time to evaluate my options.

I don't know how good this kid is but he is pretty small at 5'9". Doesn't really fit what Mick likes with big guards. Last I heard was he was a 3 star recruit but I am sure he will be at least a 4 star now that he has committed to O$U.

He plays big and makes big plays. Good get for OSU.
