Our coaching staff has done a great job this spring imo. Getting him and Izundu on campus is awesome. Now hopefully we can close the deal!

They were AAU teammates. On my phone, so no link, but if you Google their names together some articles come up from their AAU games.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy. The staff has narrowed down exactly what they said they were looking for, and will get them both on campus. In the spring chaos period, imo we've done as much as you could hope for at this point.
 
Pack Pride @PackPride: UNC Asheville transfer Andrew Rowsey's visit to NC State has been canceled, according to sources. He was scheduled to visit tomorrow.

That's two out of two cancelled. Hopefully, that's a good sign, if he keeps the UC visit.
 
Not sure I like how his father is handling his recruitment. With that being said I would take him in a heart beat.

Oh man, I'm trying not to get too excited. This would be an A+ get imo. Hopefully Troy was a good guest at the Rowsey house during the Team Loaded slumber parties.

Has he made any other visits/does he have any more that haven't been cancelled?
 
In an Interview from his senior year of high school, he mentions that he wanted to choose a small school because he likes the small school environment, but also somewhere that he could still compete at. Does that statement carry over to this decision? If so, that kind of signals towards Marquette.

Exact Quote: "I want to go to a smaller school with not that many kids. I like the small enviornment."

Hopefully he got enough of the small school environment at UNC Asheville. While the Marquette campus isn't very big, it's right in the middle of Milwaukee, so I don't think that gives them much of an edge.

Hope Troy can help close down this kid's recruitment this weekend, he's like a short-Jimmer Fredette.
