Chad said few weeks back in one of our forums that 6'5" knock down shooter could be our first 2017 commit. Believe he said he thinks it will be done by July. Could be exactly what we need.

Here's a tweet from about him:

6'5" Trevor Moore from the Houston Defenders put together one of the better shooting performances with 5 three's in the first half

Here's his link to his AAu team:

Went 41-101 from 3 through 11 games on the UA circuit.

Not sure why he has flown under the radar, but if the end result is UC lands a dead eye wing shooter, so be it...

Shot reminds me alot of Field Williams, I will be escatic if we can get this guy. Eventually he's going to blow up so getting him early is key.

His mixtape reminds me a lot of Cobb and Field Williams, as in he can stroke it from deep, but can't create his own shot, and doesn't bring much else to the table. If he's able to shoot ~40% from deep, though, I am very okay with that. Think his 6'5" frame helps as well, making him tougher to guard than Cobb/Field. Let's get him.

He still has time to develop at his age and size. If he can shoot 40% from deep and play above average defense with that size he could play for me. It's easier to work on dribbling than it is shooting. Next year class should have ALL shooters and 6'10 rim protector.

Really good at the Steph/Klay pump fake, one dribble relocate and fire. Also started to drive more off the shot fake and get to the line in LA last weekend. But make no mistake, he's a shooter.

Kid has great shot preparation and knows how to get in position with his hands and feet always ready to go. Couple that with really good shot mechanics and you have a college ready shooter with size...

You have no idea why he is so underrated? Seems like a good player you'd think some sites would start picking up on him

Maybe he doesn't play with a high major guy on his AAU team? You'd think if big schools were sniffing around for other guys they'd discover him. I mean Houston hasn't even offered?

Pretty...umm...interesting list. Should be an easy choice, unless minutes is literally all that matters.

This isn't all that surprising. The kid is under the radar and most bigger schools haven't caught on yet. The kid can shoot. I don't care who else he is interested in and picking between, if he can put the ball in the basket that's good enough for me.
