The Bearcats win again! How about Mick bringing in Biggie for instant offense and rebounding, what a great move!

Or Mick telling rashad to shoot 100% from the line. Or Mick telling Yancy to rebound. Or Mick telling Dion to grab 3 steals. Or Mick telling Darnell to jump high. Or Mick telling Rutgers coach to get a T. Get real.

Nice win for UC. Second half was much improved than the first. Only two gripes, we need to get some dribble penetration more consistently. And secondly, our shooting is a concern (6-18) is not terrible but as Mick stated, alot of open looks missed.

The big one is Saturday... WVU has it's back up against the wall now... they absolutely HAVE to have a win.

When this team passes and goes inside out it's fun to watch. When they dribble on the perimeter and shoot jumpers it's ugly.

Really liked Larry Davis tonight. He was a real spark for the team. Especially liked his penetrate and pass plays. I thought the team really played well when He, Dixon and Rashad were on the floor together.

Gates played well and looked real good rebounding. Thought Biggie made another case to take minutes from Thomas.

Rashad looked very good in all capacities. Loved his leadership. Caught a glimpse of Dion giving direction to guys while at the foul line. Awesome to see that.

Cash drives me nuts dribbling and starting the offense 25 feet from the basket. Hustle play was huge though.

Good win and on to the next.

Night and Day between halves.

I still cannot fathom what Wilks thinks at times. I don't mean this disrespectfully, but his brain almost seems like that of a dog from a recent dog food commercial: "sausage, sausage, sausage, sausage......bark, bark, bark, bark......run, run, run." Except, Wilks' brain says, "run, run, run....jump, jump, jump......dribble, dribble, dribble...where am I dribbling?.....turnover!"

18-3 looks and feels so so good. Even better feeling looking at our next 5-6 games, we have a real shot to win all of with the exception of Pitt! Even that game they should feel no pressure, especially if we beat WV. What's the worst that could happen, lose to a top 5 team? Oh well, if they do move on to the next game. If we do?! Party time. The cats are in a great position if/when they get a W on Saturday!

unless he had a bad game that i missed, Rashad has missed maybe 2 free throws this year

I don't know the exact numbers but he has been clutch from the line this year. I have been tough on Rashad this year but last night he was incredible. I hope we see more of those performances this year.

he still takes awful three pointers and hasn't made $hit from behind the arc in what seems like 10+ games. However, the man can shoot free throws this year :D

He was 2 of 6 from 3, 5-10 overall from the field, 8-8 from the line with 4 assists and 2 blocks. The difference in Rashad last night was that he didn't hesitate and he went straight up on shots instead of fading backwards. He's decent offensively when he doesn't overthink and attacks.

I disagree. The difference for Rashad last night was that the game was held at Fifth Third. He is a much better player/shooter at home.

He is also 9-44 over his last 12 games from behind the arc, yes an amazing 20%. I agree that Rashad is at his best when he drives to the basket and can draw contact. I think he takes some very bad 3's early in the shot clock, and even when he is open I personally don't have confidence in him making it. I think it would be a very savvy move for him to know his limitations and do what he does best which is attack the basket, not shoot 3's.

He seems to do best from behind the arc when it is a kick out and he can step into it. He's not a great set shooter from out there at all I would totally agree.
