Schools who visited our workouts today were; Maryland, Cincinnati, NC State, Florida, and Clemson.


I am assuming they were there to see Matt Coleman...

Ike Obiagu picked up an offer from Cincinnati today. Kevin Ollie & an assistant from California also popped in to see him.

I like that Louisville offer, but wonder what it'll take for him to leave the state.

Bearcatnews.com doesn't have a lot of action on their website but they do a pretty good job of updating recruiting information. I don't know if we can reference that website more often or what. Just an FYI

University of Cincinnati will be in the gym for the Taylor Co.Vs North Hardin(KY)regional game to check out PG David Sloan & G Tony Jackson.
 
It really seems to me that Cronin wants someone else at pg than Jenifer after caupain leaves. I was wondering if he was going to try and make Jordan Bowden into a pg if he could some how land him.

Once Troy is gone Jenifer is the only PG on the roster. That is why Mick is actively recruiting PGs. I think we all hope that Mick lands a better PG than Jenifer based on what we have seen this year.
 
I think it's pretty hard to judge Jenifer by limited minutes in his freshman year. I by no means think he will be a fantastic PG, All-Conference etc. But I think, down the road, he can be a great game manager, play solid defense and get 5-6 assists a game. I hope Cronin is out getting a scoring guard. Someone opposite of Jenifer who will look to shoot and create more.

would be stunned if the staff wasn't trying to get more athletic in the backcourt. JJ will be a nice back up but if we want to take that next step he will not be a starter. Just My opinion. You want a example of a top PG look at X Sumner. He is a first round draft pick.
