I'm going to take a stab at this. Time to start really studying up for college football (I have to kick Bearcatboy's a$$ again in Pick 5).

UCLA (A) - L
Miami OH (N) - W
Alabama A&M (H) - W
Ohio (H) - L
UConn (A) - W
Tulane (H) - W
Temple (A) - W
SMU (A) - L
Navy (H) - L
USF (H) - L
UCF (A) - L
ECU (H) - W (This could be a good last game should we be 1 W shy of a bowl berth)

Overall: 6-6

The stretch from at Temple to at UCF could be rough.

I wonder if going 2-0 vs Miami and Ohio will be the key for us making a bowl. I have no idea what to expect from the team. They should be better. But does that mean they'll win on the road in conference? Who knows. The past few years have been pretty rough. Let's get back in a bowl.

We will see about that

Were lucky to beat Miami last year on one of the greatest coaching blunders of all time.

Miami still came back and if not for picked up flag in the end zone on what should have been an easy pass interference call .

Wouldn't be too sure of win this year.

I believe that UC will surprise a lot of people this year. I expect them to be improved in almost every area. Does that mean 5 wins? 6 wins? 7 or more? I don’t know, there are way to many unknowns about UC and about the opposition. But they have gotten top rank AAC recruiting classes the last 2 years. How those players have developed compared to the opposition is a total unknown at this point. But for the first time in a few years, I’m actually fairly optimistic about this coming season.

I hope your right, but think we are still one year away.

Cats received 3 votes in the Coaches poll this week. If the defense can keep playing as well as it did over the weekend, might be in for a little surprise this season.

I’m sorry, I’m a glass half full guy all the way. And I thought our team would take some big steps this year, but this has been so much more than I expected. Ranked in the top 25, off to the best start in 6-7 years. I’m so proud of these guys, can’t wait to see what this team accomplishes

Pretty good, so far. You're batting .667. It wouldn't be horrible if you were accurate for the balance of the season (8-4), but I think maybe we beat either SMU or Navy (or both!). USF has been exposed and we have them at home. 11-1 is not impossible, but 9-3 would still be wonderful.

My two games that scare me are @temple and of course @ UCF. For some reason the Temple game scares me, hope for a win.

This may be the most over rated UC has been in 20 years. We havent even beat a team over .500 and two of them have only won 1 game.

Certainly overrated. But you can only play your schedule. And when unbeaten while the rest of college football beats itself up...you move up. 1 loss and this team drops a bunch unless it’s close to UCF.

Regardless, this has been an impressive start and much needed after fickell a first season being a disaster. I thought after last season UC was behind schedule to get better. Now I feel they are ahead. Amazing progress.
