I realize it is early but we have 3 players (who have shot a significant amount of 3's) at or above 42% rounding up. Yes we have played some patsies but we are looking very good in that category. 42% for a season would be top 5 all time. Again, I understand those numbers will go down but Cash is at 48% right now which would be #1 all time if he could manage to maintain that for a season.

Keep in mind Sanders has the best ratio even though he has shot a lot fewer times...and his FG % in general is the highest on the team. This is why I wanted him to become more aggressive. He's not a bad shooter.

Also Cash is hitting from the stripe and SK is not doing bad although most of SK's % came in the 16 of 16 outing against Iowa State. After that his % would drop pretty bad.

Cash and SK are the true leaders of this team. Parker is a beast lead by example type of guy. Rubles has given us another dimension with his versatility and added confidence since he will not shy away from a big shot. After that we have some great rebounding and blocking potential at the 4 and 5 positions. Sanders and Thomas are starting to blossom. JJ is JJ.

We are legitimately 10 deep with 2 more who are fully capable of 10 minutes if needed.

I might add that Sanders has a good handle on the ball. I could see him bringing the ball up the court ala Dixon at times during the game if needed. He plays within himself...although I would like to see him test his boundaries a bit more

....because we are...........THE THREE AMIGOS!!!

I guess you had to see the movie with Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, and the other guy whose name I can't think of right now.

I think as Sanders gains more confidence from court time that you'll see him be more assertive but he absolutely plays within the flow of the game.
