I am not excited about this, but I understand that we were put in a bad position with the departure of TCU to pick up another game.

I don't think anyone is happy about this, administration and coaches included. The schools willing to give us a return game didn't have room on the schedule this year and the bigger schools that had or could make room, wanted to use their leverage to get a one time home game. I applaud the administration for NOT taking these games without a return. UC football is big enough now to deserve a return game. If you aren't going to get one, then screw it.

Its better than nothing - especially since TCU left us scrambling...Albeit barely

They did play UConn & Army last year and actually beat Columbia.

Fordham was 1-10 last year with losses to such powerhouses as:

URI (21-17)
Colgate (38-14)
Penn (35-20)
Lehigh (34-12)
Lafayette (45-24)
Georgetown (31-13)
Bucknell (21-0)
Holy Cross (42-21)
