I guess I'll be the first to comment. What a confidence booster for the defense. You could tell they were hungry for something and they fed themselves well off a weak Akron team. Hopefully they play with a new sense of urgency and pride going forward. Can't wait for Thursday night's game vs. NC State.

Akron is awful and we all knew that before the game. That said, I would rather have a confident defense going into Thursday night rather than one questioning themselves. This Akron game came at the perfect spot on the schedule.

I agree as well. The confident defense still has to play better to win this game but I am hoping that the momentum is enough to carry them through. Being at home and no Russell Wilson will definitely help. I will be there cheering them on as usual. Go Cats!!
