Isner (USA) vs Mahut (France)

44-43 right now in 5th set. Longest Tennis match in history. Most aces by one player and combined. The 5th set alone is over 5 hours long and the entire match over 8 hours. No bathroom breaks. No trainers. Freaking amazing.

That's awesome. I love to watch tennis, but rarely watch early round play. Plus I'm at work. If I were at home though, I would definitely tune in.

It's pretty cool. But after awhile it gets boring. Like Kingsley, I'd almost rather watch fat chicks wrestle.

Whoa cheap shot, I watched a ton of it. Turned it on before the USA game, then after the USA game turned it back on. Instant classic. It's almost unreal to see 59-59. You have to think this stoppage will hurt Isner more, but hopefully they come out tomorrow and play a few more games. It would be a shame if they came out tomorrow and someone won the first two games played.

This match will go down in history. None of us will see anything close to it again. Again, it's unreal. I'm at a loss of words.

Yeah, cheap shot is right.

I repped you for being a good sport. :)

I agree, there's no way to describe what happened. It'd be like a baseball game going 60 innings or a basketball game going to 20 overtimes. 70-68 ended up being the final. Over 11 hours to complete the match. Unbelievable.
