So, I'm reading a few of the comments from Bill Koch's article this weekend detailing UC's win over Toledo (it's a game for me; I like to see how many comments there are before the first completely nonsensical Cronin basher posts...the answer in this case was 10, the most I've ever seen), and I come across this gem from Cincypast:

-----FLASH----- NEWS FROM THE FUTURE

The UC berarcats defeated the Duke Blue Devils today for their 89th straight victory breaking UCLA's 88-game winning streak. The throng of 6,572 left 5th3rd arena very dissapointed. The 4,000 Duke fans in attendance did not like Duke being the team beat to set the new record. The 1,572 "UC Fans" were dissapointed that Mick Cronin was still the coach.

Afterwards the Enquirer blog ws riddled with posts stating that the late Bob Huggins could have easily won 100 games in a row and that Cronin would never get there.

Tragically, the balloned 520 pound Huggins passed away the previous week at 4:00 am while, as his lawyer stated, "attending a prayer vigil in Las Vegas". In lieu of flowers the 400,000 "UC Fan" Huggins supporters were encouraged to send donations to the recently revived "Sherry's Ranch" outside of Las Vegas where Huggins passed.

This post cracked me up, classless though it may be, so I had to forward along. What do you think?
