I thought it would be interesting to start a thread discussing what UC gifts the Bearcattalk faithful have received or are giving during the holiday season...

For example:

My girlfriend got me this Adidas Scorch Warm-Up Jacket

On the other hand, I got my dad two tickets to the Crosstown Shootout. Neither of us have ever been to one in our lives and in his case, that's a looooong life (59 years )



So, has anyone received any early gifts yet?

Nothing yet for me. My wife did buy me the polo that looks similar to what you posted (same ones the coaches wear on the sidelines) back in October so I'd have it to wear to games. I really like the UC Adidas gear. It is sharp!

No- though I do find it interesting that the two are similar in that back then, UC was one of the forerunners for the Nike "Jordan Brand" Gear... Now, under Mick, they are a forerunner for the latest Adidas Gear.

I really like the new jerseys myself. Are there some artistic chances that are taken that don't quite work? Sure. But overall I think they are unique and if the team continues to play well they will become a national brand again.
