UC is the four seed and will play at 2:00 on Thursday. The game will be on ESPN.

I'll leave thoughts and predictions to others, but I want to say congrats to Mick and the players on receiving a double-bye. This has been a long and crazy season, but as the regular season closed today, we stare at a double-bye in the best conference tourney running. Lets enjoy it for a few days and prepare to close the season strong.

Thought at the beginning of the season they could finish as high as 3rd. I'll take a 4th place and second the congratulations.

Great job Bearcats! This team is playing very well right now and i think they can make a good run in the tourney if they keep playing the way they are. Parker makes them better because he can drive to the basket and make shots and Jackson is becoming a beast on D. If they mix in the inside game with Gates and Parker look out.

I agree with you cpaw. I just wish they were playing at 7, ill have to find some way of getting out of work lol.

I will be at the tournament. I'm scheduled to come home early Friday, let's just say I hope i really don't want to leave.

I am really enjoying this late season push by the cats. They have been really fun to watch. The team is really clicking at the right time. Finding Parker's offense and Yancy's rebounding have really been the keys. We have especially excelled at controlling the ball, esp. Cash and Dion. Jackson has been a key in the UL and Marq games. If he could just play less with his hands.

THe X factor for me in the BET is Killa. If we get what we have been getting from the above players and Kilpatrick finds his stroke which has been off lately, we could do some serious damage. I want the Kilpatrick that hit the winning shot at UConn. He has played better of late but seemed to drop in scoring and defense while his groin was hurt. The double bye is very key for Cash as well. If we can get him healthy and get Killa scoring 18-20 ppg we will be looking very good.

I too am not happy about the game being at 2:00 on Thursday. The time will change if G'Town loses per Dan Hoard. Although I like our matchup and past history of W's, I don't think we will see them. I just have a hunch that they will lose. I could easily see St.J make a run on their home court.

I applaud the team and Coaching staff for the job they have done. The Shoe the last couple games was such a home court advantage. It really feels good to say that UC basketball is back and the program is on solid footing.

Unless they are doing something new this year, Cincinnati will play at 2 on Thursday regardless of who wins. They would then play in the first semi final on friday at 7 if they win on Thurs.

Then that is definitely something new. I recall the year UC was upset by DePaul they didn't switch the game times for the next day...

The game is at 2:00 Thursday no matter what. I think what Hoard was saying was that we will play Georgetown unless they are upset by either Pittsburgh or St. John's. In that case, we obviously would not be playing the Hoyas.
