Outside of Rutgers, that was pathetic. Seriously, we added these schools??

Who would you have been able to add that was better? Either add these guys or fold as a conference, that simple. Have to have at least eight teams to maintain BCS berth. Only five have stuck around and some of those have rumored to want to leave. TCU backed out. Teams aren't going to take a step down to join the Big East, especially when the conference isn't guaranteed a future.

No one, and that is problem.

It's frustrating, hopefully Boise State stays near the top. I think Central Florida has the best chance of the others to be able to boost their program. Adding BYU will be a good move if they can work it out. As much as I dislike Louisville, the Big East really needs them and us to continue our programs on the rise. Rutgers and South Florida need to step it up as well. Both, in my opinion, have been overrated the past five years and that's saying something being in the Big East.

Respect and accomplishment, aren't always the same thing.
Louisville hasn't done crap in football, in years, yet people have been drooling over them non-stop this season. They struggled mightily with FIU, who beat them last year. They nearly blew a 29 point lead against UNC, who also beat them last year, last year, they lost their bowl game to an NC State team we beat 44-14.
The year before that?
The year before that?
The year before that?
Exactly.

BYU has storied success and has been pretty good(be nice if we could land them) Boise State obviously has been the best non-aq for awhile, SDSU these past two years, has been pretty good(8 wins last year, 9 wins the year before, won the poinsettia bowl), Airforce is okay...(if we get them) Though Memphis is putrid, they should ease the loss of the basketball powers, UCF pretty decent, with their win over Georgia in their last bowl game. Trying to think about the others... Navy is up and down, Temple see Memphis.

Those currently among us, UConn had a bad year last year but is still okay in my eyes. USF needs to step up. They couldn't make a bowl game last year, that is to say, they couldn't win 6 games. That's after winning their 4 non-conference games before Big East play.(they lost their 5th to The U. in November) Louisville, as I said, hasn't done anything in a few years. Rutgers, beat a decent Iowa State team in last years Pin Stripe bowl and seem pretty solid with Schiano leaving. They're not bad.
I think from this point on, Boise, Central Florida, Cincinnati and Rutgers are going to be the flag bearers. I think Louisville is a paper tiger. They'll be even more so when Strong leaves.

Good analysis. However, I believe Louisville is legitimate. Strong has been building that team from the moment he got there. I would bet on them to win the big east and I think they'll certainly contend the next few years. That being said, I'd love to head down to the ole Papa Johns Yum KFC .com stadium next month and take control of the Big East.

The winner of that game should win the Big East. Glad its a little later in season so Munchie has time to grow.
