I don't necessarily agree. Pitt's RPI is currently at 92, if they beat Georgetown it will be even lower. I think they consider a bad loss to teams with RPI's over 100. So it won't be considered a bad loss. It might effect the seeding, but I don't think there is any risk of not getting in should we lose to Pitt, imo. That being said, we need to just take care of business no matter who we are playing.

I don't think anyones afraid of missing the tournament after the Villanova win. We could lose to Pitt by 30 something like Notre Dame last year and we'd still be in. A loss would drop us to a 10 or 11 seed (which might actually be better). Instead, let's win a couple and get to the 6 or 7 line.

By the way, this wasn't a big enough deal to deserve a thread but anyone catch Gottlieb last night? He was talking about how UCONN could make a run through the Big East tourney again and I believe his words were "If they knock off Syracuse then Cincy? Come on, can't tell me that team scares you". I honestly expected him to say something worse after Monday night but I just thought it was funny.
