Same here... I was wondering if we had a new playmaker or something. lol

I think the game is going to be a hard fought struggle. Yancy is going to have to take the game over and the 'Cats are going to have to hit some shots from the outside. Someone (Cash, Killa, Dixon) needs to catch fire from the perimeter.

I agree, I think it will be a close game, although it shouldnt be.. Dayton is not a good team imo.

I think it will be a close game, but will really depend on Dayton's guards, they have no one down low that can compete with Yancey. If he plays like a monster down low, it's UC's game to lose.

Having said that, I think Dayton will win. They have a lot of quick guards, and they just keep throwing different ones in the game all the time. UC will probably be pressured a lot by these guards.


And how lazy do you have to be to put "Tom" in the title of the thread, and then in the thread itself. Tomorrow. Four freaking letters.

I will take dayton. Dayton and X seem to bring it up a level in these games. We need to be ready. If we come out ready to play we will be good.

the TYZ will be in the house. We need to avenge our loss to them in the NIT last year. If Yancy shows up, we should have the edge. They will probably have the crowd advantage, though. This should be a very fast paced game, so Cash and Killa need to have a coming out party.

I am actually thinking UC's best chance might be to slow this game down, muddy it up a bit and use the size advantage inside.

You're probably right, but we have a real hard time controlling the tempo either way. We need to force the ball inside and not take so many threes. Dayton (at least in years past) loves getting quick transition baskets off missed shots and long rebounds. Gates needs to go for 25 tonight. We need to take ten threes or less. And Cash needs to stay out of foul troule because he needs to be on the floor if this thing gets quick because he's so good at creating turnovers in those situations.
