Looking at this bracket, I can't believe BYU and San Diego State are 2 seeds. I could see both of them losing second round to the Big East teams.

11 teams from one conference is just insane! Although the ACC getting 5 teams in is also insane. Basketball is the one team sport that doesn't take a lot to build a great program and some of these smaller conferences might just get three in, if another sub-.500 team wins the conference championship.

In the end, I believe the BEast might get nine teams in, and UC will be one of the nine. I am just hoping we get better than an 8-9 seed, though finally playing Duke this season could be fun!

I wouldn't argue that we may have 11 teams deserving, but it'll never happen. I really think we could have a solid case for 9 or 10 this year, but I still think they stand pat at 8 as a max. They say there is none, but I believe there is. Remember 8 was only first reached just 3 years ago, and has been achieved only twice, total. Both by the BE.

Probably agree with you on the 9. Since the NCAA has added 3 more spots you would think the Big East would deserve at least one of them.
