Rubles and JJ better get their turnovers under control. This is ridiculous.
And cold shooting from the Cats, other than Cash and Sanders. S K jacking them up to no avail. Alot of jumpshots not falling.
Defense is solid for the most part. This is the most uptempo opponent they've played. Only a 10 point lead at the 10 minute mark.

36-17 with about 5 mins left in first half.
Sloppy, sloppy game. Nice lead but lots of ugliness that you don't want to see from the Cats. Defense and rebounding is mostly solid, although some Campbell players have gotten wide open shots which shows someone lost their man here and there. Like right there, easy layup for Campbell.
The offense and passing has been really suspect.

Campbell hanging around and giving them a game. 55-36, 3 mins into second half.
Apparently, per Terry Nelson, Campbell hung with Iowa State and were within 4 point late in the game, and then Iowa State went on a 15 point run to put it away in the last 5 minutes. So this team isn't a bad cupcake. LOL.
They actually can shoot pretty well. And they do the uptempo game really well. I know UC is up 20+, but after getting up on them by that much, it's pretty much been even since.

If Rubles and jackson continue making unforced turnovers and ridiculous fouls we will not beat good teams consistently. As sloopy a game as we have played in quite awhile.
Also those thinking Kilpatrick is leaving at the end of this year you may want to think again. If his handle doesn't improve dramaticlly he isn't going this year.

I can confidently say we will lose a good amount of games if we do not improve the defense and free throw shooting. This shit is pathetic.

Very disappointing second half. Embarrassing FT shooting and the defense looks like they aren't even trying. This is why I don't like playing all these cupcakes. It teaches you terrible habits.

What's really awful about the free throw shooting is its not even our bigs. SK, parker guyn, sanders, cash on most nights consistently miss their free throws and they are suppose to be our guards. How can SK average 20 pts a game and shoot 40% from ft's. I mean his 3pt % might be better than his ft's. Its beyond unacceptable for guard oriented players shoot such a low percent. Their form and concentration is terrible. he only player who even looks like they have good form is JD III.

Coming into this year SK is a career 74% FT shooter and Parker is at 65%. They aren't going to continue to shoot as bad as they have been.

You don't know that and if they continue to develop bad habits it will only be harder to break.
Nah. The poor FT shooting will get better.
Parker, Wright and S K will be automatic here in a few weeks. That always happens.
I'm more worried about the missed defensive assignments for easy buckets, turnovers by our non-amigos, and lack of movement on offense at times.
