From Lance McAlister:

"Home is where the wins are
Overall home record of Top 10 Big East teams this year: 107-6 (.947)."

This is an unbelievable stat that just goes to show how tough it is to win on the road. I know people want to crush the Bearcats for not winning at Nova, Cuse, or ND but let's be honest, nobody is winning in those gyms this year. If the Bearcats win their home games this year, they can still end up with a record of 11-7 just by winning @Depaul and @Providence. If they win Saturday, they could feasibly be 12-6 when it is said and done if they win the games they should and hold serve at home. There is plenty of basketball to be played. Let's not get down on this team just yet. Every single one of you would have taken 16-3 if it were offered to you at the beginning of the season.

Winning on the road in the Big East is very tough. Especially when you travel to play UConn, Syracuse, Pitt, Nova, Notre Dame, L'Ville, ect. Hopefully this program can get back to a point where we are included in the list of "Top Teams in the Big East".

We are a part of the statistic I posted in the first post because UC is in the top 10 of the Big East.

Winning on the road in the BE is tough. For me its not about the loss, but how we lost. Going into Cuse and Nova I was not expecting to win. But I feel like this team really didnt play well. I still believe ND is overrated and should have been beat... Time will tell with this team, but im not sold on anything just yet.

I agree. The ND game really aggravated me because I thought if we played in the first half like we did in the second we win pretty easily. You can't get behind by 15 in the first half and expect to win any games on the road in the Big East. My point to posting this info was to point out that the sky is not falling.

I am very curious to see what changes will be made today. Can't even bring myself to hazard a guest till I see the line up.

Joe Lunardi says 11 Big East teams in NCAA Tourney per announcers on Vill Syracuse game.
