Not sure if this is okay since The Athletic is a pay site but I'll post it anyway.

The Athletic is a new sports site and their college basketball section should be good with Seth Davis, Dana O'Neil, Ken Pomeroy and others. The link is an article Brian Hamilton wrote about Cane Broome.

I believe if it is a public post it's okay to link. If it is only meant for members then it is not okay. I would imagine it would not be visible to non members anyway.

I don't know how to find out if this is a private article but since I was able to access I will assume it is not private for now.

Fantastic in depth article on Broome! It gives you a lot of insight on his confidence as well as how coach plans to use him. Coach will ask him to push pace but limit turnovers and not be a ball hog. He's NOT going to be a full on "green light" guy...he will have to play team ball. We WILL almost certainly be speeding up play by the sounds of things. We will rely on Cane's ability to get in the crease to break down the first wave of D so we get some breakdowns and defenders helping on him. We will use him in open court fast breaks to beat teams down the floor.

He came to UC as a stick figure in terms of his physical stature but I am sure he has put on muscle weight since. His confidence is off the charts. He does not like cheese AT ALL...lol! He seems to be on board with his role on this team as opposed to Sacred Heart. He had a more limited role in HS (because he wasn't always the focal point) and it didn't cramp his style.

I like what I hear in this article. Almost EXACTLY what I was hoping for really!
