The Cincinnati Bearcats have a lot of work to do if they expect to continue their trend of Big East football semi-dominance. The Bearcats have won or shared the conference title three out of the last four years, but now they will have to do it with a bunch of new faces.

Head coach Butch Jones is looking to replace quarterback Zach Collaros and running back Isaiah Pead -- last season's conference offensive player of the year -- and he has some young talents in Munchie Legaux and Ralph David Abernathy IV. Still, Cincinnati will be looking to add offensive depth, especially in the backfield. Of the 15 commitments so far, 11 play on the offensive side of the ball.

Here are three of Cincinnati's most important commitments to this point:

1. Marcus Levy, RB, Fort Pierce (Fla.): As Jones plans to do this season, the replacement for Pead will likely come by committee. Levy, widely considered a top 50 running back in the country, can fill that role well. He's a back that can play on any down, and though he's not a burner, he's a physical runner that uses his strength (5-11, 185) to run through potential tacklers.

2. Mykel Traylor-Bennett, WR, Reynoldsburg (Ohio): Traylor-Bennett turned down offers from Syracuse and Minnesota and elected to stay in-state to play for the Bearcats. He's a big receiver (6-4, 190) with good hands and decent speed. He's not necessarily a speedy guy, but he does possess big play ability.

3. Jaleel Canty, CB, Lansing (Mich.): Canty is an athlete who can play on both sides of the ball. He's a guy that can definitely contribute on special teams right away, but his long-term position will likely be in the defensive backfield. His size (5-9, 185) could be a problem when trying to cover elite receivers on the college level, but he more than makes up for it with his athleticism.
