I have been Parker's biggest critic on this site i feel...during this stretch, with a very short bench, Parker has played a huge part for this team...he is showing some physicality and a decent shot...maybe it is the competition allowing Parker to play so well or maybe it is really clicking for him...either way, i hope he continues to make me eat my words...

Side note, how about Cash Money...looks like he has regained his confidence...

Go Bearcats!

They are, but I can assure you, no one imagined Parker would be this type of player.

Parker is going to continue to be a solid contributor. I think he can be this team's Bishop with a little more offense and a little less defense. I hope when the selection committee looks at everything, they look at his injury as one of the reasons we struggled early in the year. Every team needs a glue guy and he is that guy for this team.

Last year it was Larry Davis, this year Jaquon Parker. Before that it was Kevin Walter. Keep dogging our players when they suck and you will single handedly bring them out of their funk and give them success. You play a vital role in the development of these young guys.

After his freshman season everybody thought Parker was going to be a good player. By his own admission he didn't do much work in the offseason following that nice start to his college career.

This past offseason he worked his ass off. He has put in the time and it is showing in his play. He provides toughness. I remember one tie up in the last game where he ripped the ball away from an opposing player. He has that element the team was missing earlier. He is also stepping up and helping to lead the team. I posted back before practice started I thought we'd see his shooting numbers back around his freshmen percentages. I'm glad to see he is shooting well early to build his confidence.
