Kimbo's UFC fighting career is done. Dana White announced that he will be cut.

I have always said that Kimbo had a huge upside, although he got into the game way to late to be a big time success. But is this the right move for the UFC?

On one hand the UFC prides itself for having the best fighters in the world.

On the other hand Kimbo brings in ratings. People who typically dont pay to watch these fights, or keep up with the UFC all that much (myself included), hear Kimbo Slice and want to tune in.

It was time for him to go. While he did bring in some ratings, he has been dominated by 2 average at best fighters. His front knee is a huge problem, a couple kicks to it, and he would lose so much of his power and he has nothing else right now. Had he gotten into this when he was younger, he would have been fine. A couple more fights of being manhandled and he becomes a laughing stock in the MMA world. Dana can't let that happen.

Good move by UFC. If you want to be a mainstream sport then you can't have people on just for name recognition.

If they got rid of Brock it would do wonders for them from a respect level.

People see through the roided up freakshow after awhile. People want to the best fighters in the world not the guy who failed at every sport and got roided up.

I prefer the light weight divisions of UFC fight now.

He has beaten the only guy who beat him. He didn't just beat him, he dominated. He's broken a guy's face, literally, smashed orbital bone. He has a few up and coming challengers, we'll see what happens in July. Fedor vs. Brock? I'm taking Brock.

Brock pre or post roids??

Dont give me this bullshit that Brock was a national champion wrestler.... That may be, but so are a lot of other guys. In fact one every year. He is a black eye for the sport. He is a roided up freakshow from the WWE!

How could any legitimate athlete who looks like that who comes from the WWE and has under 10 fights be a legit champion.

Some MMA loyalist will defend him but they know the truth. He completely cheated. No doubt in my mind. Is he currently using? Probably but maybe not. That isnt the point.

Fedor kicks his ass regardless. He is the best fighter in the world of MMA and no one is close. Brock would tap out in under 1 minute.

Exaccctly. The clown is afraid of Brock (who wouldnt be?). Im pretty sure he tried out for the Vikings a few years ago...Im glad he didnt make the cut and can watch him destroy people.

I thought he was on the practice squad for a few years actually.. Talk about a champion. Dominated the WWE (awesome), dominate college wrestling, made the NFL, owns clowns in the UFC.

Fedor is a chump, scared to fight the best in the world. He needs to earn the right to fight brock.
