People seriously underestimate how difficult it is to play a full 31 game schedule in college basketball, maybe not as much physically because these guys are in top shape but more so mentally. Kids get drained as the season wears on. Remember most of these kids are used to playing around 20-25 games, where only 4 or 5 are "high intensity." We really don't have enough guys that have gone through the grind already, so the team has worn down some. It will be a success if this team makes the NCAA tournament. Next we'll be back to the level we've been used to (5-6 seed, IMO).
