Interesting that the top three clutch players are all from the same conference. You would think that this conference would get more respect. I really hope they all do well in the tourney. We need to build on that respect for future rankings of teams.

Kind of an aside, but it's hard to gain outward respect for a conference that gets no respect from the people inside it who all want out.

I think basketball wise the coaches wouldn't mind their teams staying in the AAC. Look at the top 5 and Temple will be Temple again. Houston recruits talent and I wonder where they'd be if they had been healthy all season.

I think the league as it stands offers a great balance. Unfortunately it isn't going to stay as it is. There will still be 5-6 good teams, but after that it will be a huge drop off. The good side of that is we will start seeing a more challenging OOC from the top teams and that will get them televised. I would have like to see the AAC make a run at the VCU's and St. Louis or Daytons of the world, but it's all about football.
