Xavier fans are going to lose their minds when they see Mick Cronin and Archie Miller are ranked ahead of Chris Mack. :D

Good for Cronin, we (UC) are lucky to have him.

Now, cue the talk about Cronin leaving for a"better" job in 3,2,1....haha:rolleyes:

Looks like the student has surpassed at least one of his teachers as well. Good for Mick, nice to see him get some recognition. Well deserved.

Pretty good list. I certainly think Archie is on the rise, but 26 seems a bit high for one run. If they lost 1st round, I'm not sure he'd have been Top 50.

All I know is that there are not 26 other people that couldve taken this program over the way Mick did and got us where we are right now.

I think micks top 10. Give him a team of cash, Sk, lance, jj, gates, Williamson, TC, rubles, Shaq, Dixon all at one season. Most top 15 teams in country have that type of team year in year out. Mick has had them 10 players over span of 8yrs.

His team scouting is top 3 in country. Its his recruiting which is top 100 in country that's hurting him right now. In past 5 yrs we haven't lost 10 games where it was because of Micks coaching.

This list a joke. All it took was looking at their #50 ranking for me to want to stop reading. Really, Scott Drew is the 50th best coach behind guys like Archie Miller, Chris Mack and Mick Cronin (gulp)????? Scott Drew took the Baylor program back from the brink of extinction and in the last 5 years has led them to 2 Elite 8's and a sweet sixteen. In his one down year they went out and won the NIT.

This is a hack list, a real ranking of the best coaches in college basketball probably have Mick somewhere in the mid 30's.

Mick is very appreciated Nationally, and rightfully so I might add. Just because you don't appreciate what he has done here, doesn't make the list a "hack list."

Drew should be ranked better than 50th. I agree with that. But that has nothing to do with Mick. No one is going to make a Top 50 list that is perfect for everyone. Doesn't mean it is a hack list just bc there could be a few snubs when making a list of Top 50 coaches in the whole country.
