First Scrimmage thoughts

I'm jumping on the Rubles train, he looks like the most athletic player on this team and he is one of the smartest ones too, if I can compare him to anyone he reminds me of corey brewer from when he used to play for florida when they won the National championship 2 times in a row. Cheikh looked great at the beginning, got a little tired at the end, but I think JJ will give him some more minutes because I think JJ, Cheikh, Rubles will play most of the 4/5, Nyrasuk wasn't awful, he had a nice dunk and a couple of plays on defense where he made the offensive player change their shot, which is what we want from him, hes just not as athletic as cheikh who really looked good. I don't want people to forget we have JJ though so Cheikh isn't our only solid big man, JJ just did not play today because of a sore wrist which is a minor injury. Shaq looked solid as well, although he still need another year to adjust to college basketball, Saunders was solid, Cash was good for the most part, although he turned the ball over like 4 times, SK was very good in the second half and was a little too unselfish in the first half, Parker was parker and I love the way he plays..... which is hard for all the minutes he is on the floor. Gaines was only on the floor for like 4 mins, and I don't think he will play much again this year. and Guyn played alright he is a good prssure guard on the defensive end, he almost seems like he is to fast for himself on the offensive side, but for the most part he was good. and JD3 played for like 5 sec's and turned the ball over so it really was only a rough night for him..... and thats only because he turned the ball over right when he got in the game.

All in all a solid performance, although the team they were playing against is a D2 team they were probably as good as half of the teams we will face in our OOC this year. Not a great game, could have been better on the defensive end..... alot better.... but a solid game.
