I was born in Cincy, my dad went to UC and most of my relatives are still there. So, I have a softspot for the Bearcats. But I'm a UCLA alum and a Bruin through and through.

I was fortunate to be able to attend the games in Sacramento and enjoyed watching the Bearcats play. This was only the third time two 30 win teams have met in the first two rounds, an amazing stat.

Cincinnati had a great run this season and should be proud. Coach Cronin is a class act and very knowledgeable about basketball. Watching his press conference before the game it was clear that he understood that spectacular offense beats great defenses. (There's a misconception that defense wins championships. Something that John Wooden proved wrong many years ago. His teams scored in the 90s without the benefit of a 3 point line.)

Unfortunately, Cincy was a victim of UCLA being seeded to low and it cost them a chance at the sweet 16.

As we all know only one team ends their season on a win and it's likely that UCLA will join Cincinnati in the lose column before too long.

Good luck next year and don't be too harsh on Cronin, he's a winner getting into his stride.

Spoken like a true Cincinnatian.

Haha, no it was unfortunate we had to meet so early, and good luck the rest of the way

I believe in the past 10 years every team that has beaten UC in the second round has gone to the final 4
