Some may know this, but I didn't. Just heard Steve Fischer say on ESPN radio podcast that San Diego St. will be playing here in Cincinnati against our Bearcats next year.

Whaaaat?! That is awesome news, another great home OCC game. Keep em coming Mick! San Diego St. has been a great up-and-coming program which will be a great additional to the schedule. Will there be a return game?

Didn't hear if there would be one but got the impression that there wouldn't.

Mick has never been shy in telling anyone who would listen that he wants to play good teams at 5/3. New Mexico is a huge get and I like the return game there next year. Even if there is a SDSU return game, I still like it. If not, even better.

Sounds great, I've also heard NC State home and home is in the works beginning next year as well. I believe there is a return game to SD State the following year. Hopefully this is all true, because I'm pretty sure the Big East/SEC challenge is over after this year.

I also heard that about the NC State game. Also, the BE/SEC is suppose to be done, this was the last year for it. Besides the BE teams leaving, it showed how much better the BE teams were/are.

Life is a rollercoaster. So are sports.

Our b-ball program left for dead and our football program rises to new heights.

Now our f-ball program is squandering because of realignment and a coach strongly considering leaving because of the weakening of the conference.

And now.......our b-ball program is consistently getting it done along with improving it's scheduling.

I've always been a b-ball fan first anyway. Our football program is a stepping stone for head coaches, kinda like Xavier's b-ball job.

Glad Mick will stay and continue to build things. I actually believe he will have a chance to win it all someday.
