did fans really boo when munchie came back in after the wild cat?

Probably. They put in Luallen to see if it would work. It worked. They put Munchie back in for the last few first half possessions. Now the Orange will return to the locker room and prepare for the wildcat with Luallen. Wasted opportunity.

Kay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He hasn't looked really sharp so far, but can't expect a lot from someone who gets thrown in during the middle of the game. At least he doesn't throw it to the other team like Munchie "can't throw" Legaux!

It was nice to see a quarterback make a nice, crisp throw and hit a receiver in the numbers. I hope we stick with Brandon going forward. I feel bad for Munchie because I rooted for him, but enough is enough. With our defense giving up so many big plays we can't rely on him to put up big numbers. I think if that Syracuse guy doesn't drop that ball, not only does that play go for a pick 6 because he had nothing but green in front of him, I think we lose that game. I realize we won by 11 and the TD would only be 7, but I think with the momentum swing that would've carried we wouldn't have recovered. The rain sure came at the right time, too, to help slow down Syacuse's passing game.

And on a seperate note I sure hope the NCAA puts some rules in place to not let games run so long. That game ran four hours. They need to limit the number of TV timeouts ESPN can get in a game. They don't need to go to a TV timeout on changes of possession when the game has already run over its time. Nor every time there's an injury on the field. With all that and the three or four reviews its ridiculous. And they need to put a time limit on reviews. That one on the TD taken away took a good ten minutes. The NFL has a limit, I think 2 and half minutes, to look at it and make a call. If you can't make a call in that time the call on the field stands.
