The 'Cats look to improve to 9-0 before what should be a more challenging two game stretch with games at Oklahoma and Miami (OH).

No contest. The only question was if Wilks could average a foul every two minutes.

I know we haven't really played anyone yet, but I'm excited about this team. I'm curious to see how they play against real competition from a maturity standpoint.

Either way, I'm not sure how long it's been since I've seen ball movement out of a UC team like we've seen lately.

I'm confident that even if that were Oklahoma on the court tonight rather than Georgia Southern UC would have won by 20.

Wow, They score 99 tonight and blow away Georgia Southern, 6 players in Double figures and Cash had 9.. I have been saying all along, once this team starts to play offensively they are going to be tough to handle.. They say Defense wins championships, I am not saying we will win any championships, but the Defense they play added with chemistry and enthusiasm, this team will be one to reckon with...Oklahoma is next, i think this will be a tougher test, but would not be suprised if they leave out with a win by double digit points.. They keep this up with wins over OK and Xavier they will be in the top 25 before the Big East guaranteed... This is the best team Cronin has had period, the way they have been sharing the ball and shooting is going to make alot of teams nervous...GO UC!!!!!

First I have to give credit to a guy who I am the biggest critic of: Larry Davis. He did well tonight. I was mostly impressed with the way he finished the ball around the basket. He still cant pass though. Speaking of passing, the ball movement looked great tonight. Cash and the others were dishing the ball well tonight, including Gates. However, I was most impressed with Jackson. Watching his passing abilities, it is hard to believe that he is a freshman big man. I was also impressed when he finished a basket using his left hand. Cash is going to be good. His confidence seems to be back, and this team does not run the same when he is not at the point. A lot of people are critical of the weaker out of conference schedule, but I think it has been great for the team. Like I said about Cash, this team is gaining confidence, and their chemistry continues to strengthen. I am excited about this team. Let's hope they continue their strong play against Oklahoma on saturday.
Go Bearcats!

This is the most excited I have been about Basketball in a long, long time. This team is going to make things tough on the teams the play all year long.

I'd like to see this team play tougher inside. I like the selflessness and passing. Yancy being 2nd on team w/ assists is telling.

It is telling that teams are constantly packing in zones or double teaming the big man. Last couple years you could do that and we wouldn't be able to make them pay with the 3 point shot.

We are now and it is showing.

Bishop is draining from all over. If he and JK can do that, this team will be tough for just about anyone in the BE to play.
