WHO!? they are 14-11, 4-8 in the BE. They have ONE top 25 team vs a Texas team who clearly is not a number one team. If they wanna be a bubble team they are going to have to do some serious work in there remaining games. A game at Nova, a game vs WVU...

I hate to say it (but I'll do it anyway)...If you want to watch a very good offense against zone, look no further than Xavier at Florida yesterday.
They had everything I dream of. Not just good movement, but players would screen quickly, multiples players cutting to the hoop, good spacing, great interior passing. one on one opportunities....I gotta tell you, if UC could do that, the team would look much better.

Don't get me wrong, X still sucks, and Xavier girls are still ugly.

Navy might lose to Florida by 40 in football, doesn't mean they don't execute an offense perfectly. Talent plus execution equals winning..and X is lacking that and depth this year.

Exactly, I guess some people just don't understand basketball. They just see a name and they think that team is still great. I guess winning at Army would still be considered a good win because they were really good in the 50's and 60's.

UCONN lost to Syracuse by 5 (got jobbed), UK by 3, Georgetown by 3, Marquette by 2.

In common opponents

Florida lost to Cuse by 12 and Kentucky by 12.


We will see how Uconn finishes. They are very close to having wins against Cuse, UK, Gtown, Marquette and Texas.

UCONN was squarely on the bubble prior to yesterday.

It is funny that every predicts us to lose @ uconn but now we have won people just want to bash them.

It is not a great win but it is a good win on all levels. Same with @ florida, neither are great both are good.

I cant wait to beat USF and hear why that shouldnt be a big deal and that we suck.

I am with great1. As soon as we won the UCONN game i knew mick haters would come on and say it wasnt a good win. These same people say USF should be a tough win but after we beat them they will come on and say the same thing..

It was a match-up of 2 bubble teams. whoever lost would more then likely not have a chance anymore...it was a big win, I dont see how people think otherwise..

A loss is a loss. a 4-8 record in big east play with a tough remainning schedule. Uconn sealed there fate. FLorida still has a better record and more games remaining.
