DeShaunte Jones from colerain who is a top flight ATH who has offers from Wisconsin and Michigan has barely heard from Tuberville. Amir Riep CB from colerain is the top DB in the junior class in Ohio and has offers from Ohio State, Michigan State, Iowa and Tennessee to name a couple. However Tuberville extended an offer but hasn't spoken to him or an assistant in quite a long time. Steve Specht coach of St. X has publicly said he wished UC would try and keep his players closer to home. GCL and colerain are better than 2nd hand southern players point blank period.

While I would like to see us keep more players home I don't really care where he gets his players from. The issue isn't players coming from Ohio or not, the issue is losing. Tommy likes to go the JUCO route, always has and always will and we probably aren't going to see that change. What he needs to do is find a way to win, by most accounts the talent was there on offense this season but we regressed as a unit as the season went on. Our defense has been a disaster since Tommy arrived.

It's extremely unlikely he'll be let go any time soon unless something were to change drastically in the next couple of weeks. Next season is going to be a make or break year for Tubbs. I honestly don't see how this team gets much better and as a coach Tubbs seems to be regressing very fast. Hopefully Bohn starts putting together a short list now and keeps a close eye on those guys as we go through next season.
