Honest Assessments that people may or may not like

1. Derek Wolfe is incredably overrated. He is big and strong but he has never been a stand out preformer. A lot of hype each year but I don't see production. I will say he needs more plays off but depth is a big issue.

2. Anthony McClung and Thompkins are going to be really good. I think all of our receivers are about equal and they are all really good.

3. Collaros is not irreplacable. I think he has benefited immensly from two systems that are very QB friendly. He is not near the running threat people make him out to be.

4. Pead is not just one of the top RB in the conference, he is one of the best in the country. I think he could be the difference between a 7 and 9 win season.

5. Butch needs to quit the cliches and coach speak. It is getting old.

I think we are going to win 8 games this year.

I agree with most of what you are saying here. I don't care about coach speak and all that. If the team buys in, that's all I care about.

I still think 9-3 is a reasonable record. 4-1 out of conference (NC State game is huge now) and 5-2 in conference (lose two out of S. Florida, Pitt, and WVU).
