Gary is up 15% over last year.  Cumberland is shooting just over 55%...ridiculous.  This is one of those areas Cronin needs to improve his team.  Most of this is on the players...but we need to look at new ways from a coaching standpoint to get the team better.

I am a golfer so I like golf analogy.  Most of the pros have a sports psychologist type of person to help with the mental aspect of the game.  Are you thinking about what will happen if you miss or are you going up there thinking solely about form or making the shot.  In golf sometimes a bad thought like "I need to avoid the water" can lead to an over correction missing badly the other way.

Maybe get a sports psychologist in there to work with the team a few times to figure out what is going through each players head when attempting FT's in different situations and teach them how to clear their mind or think more positively.  Many players go up there thinking "Oh God I hope I don't miss that will be embarrassing".  I don't think the cost would be too high to do this but it could help us get 5% better overall as a team.
